DESIGN

  • We find getting an idea of the site, and meeting you in person really helps nail down an initial concept. We can make a plan to prep the site, identify any potential challenges and discuss the overall scope in more detail, whilst getting a feeling for the site location and what you’re looking for in terms of aesthetics and your ideal budget. Site-visits aren’t always possible of course, as we’re Auckland based so in this case photos/videos of the site and it’s location is extremely helpful.

  • We put together a basic concept drawing/s, based on the specifications we discussed with dimensions and alternative options. This is where we get the chance to discuss how the aesthetic and layout works for you, and if there any amendments that need to be made.

  • Based on the concept, we put together an itemised estimate for you. It’s always easier if you have an idea of a budget in mind, as the scope of an outdoor sauna really is endless so it’s beneficial to work within boundaries to save on unwelcome surprises.

CONSTRUCTION

  • We require site prep/groundworks to be complete before we start your build. We will discuss any necessary preliminary work during our initial consult, so we can make a detailed plan but generally if the location and access to your site is clear, then nothing further will be required.

  • Our lead time really depends on our workload at the time of enquiry, however in general our lead time is around 6-8 weeks. On average most of our custom sauna builds take approximately 3-4 weeks, but we do require additional time to run through the design and concept stage.

  • We provide a complete handover pack with necessary sauna heater information and warranties, plus a step by step guide to optimise your sauna experience, and to maintain the interior and exterior of your sauna.
