Our Poronui outdoor sauna is a quiet sanctuary nestled into a well-established Mount Eden garden in Auckland. Designed in close collaboration with our clients, in terms of dimensions and overall aesthetic this sauna seamlessly fits into their existing landscape, not only providing an architectural feature but also the convenience for private sauna bathing.

The four person sauna exterior is clad in Western Red Cedar, with a 12mm negative detail fully cedar-lined interior that creates a warm, aromatic sauna experience with tiered seating. An aged copper outdoor shower sits alongside the sauna, completing the space as a simple backyard retreat for relaxation and daily sauna bathing.
