Brooklyn Sauna

This sauna was designed alongside our clients who loved the aged look of the burnt Yakisugi timber and the overall aesthetic of one of Hideaway’s earliest builds; the Pyramid Sauna. Located in the garden of a 1920's brick villa, both of which being quite rambling, they were thinking they wanted something that felt like it had always been there.

The size of the window was an important factor for our clients also, as the sauna faces towards native New Zealand bush so they wanted to feel like they were sitting amongst the trees, with no boundaries in between.
