Grove Sauna

This sauna was created in close collaboration with our client, whose deep understanding of sauna culture and best practices helped shape every detail. Together, we crafted a space that delivers an exceptional custom sauna experience while reflecting their vision with precision.

At the heart of the sauna is an 18kW HUUM HIVE sauna heater, chosen not only for its exceptional heat performance and generous stone capacity, but also for its beautiful overall design, making it a striking focal point within the space.

Western Red Cedar lines both the interior and exterior, bringing warmth, rich tonal variation, and a distinctive natural aroma. Set against the backdrop of native New Zealand bush, the timber creates a seamless connection between the sauna and its surrounding landscape blurring the boundary between inside and out.
